prof. Aneesha Sharma
Aneesha Sharma has more than twenty-two years of experience in the field of Design, with tenyears of Teaching experience in varied Design Institutes at Bachelors, Masters and PhD levels. Aneesha has experienced the Design value systems and Pedagogical frameworks of some the best Design Institutes in India as she has worked at National Institute of Design (NID), Srishti Institute of Art and Design, and Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID).
Aneesha received her PhD in Design from IDC, IIT-Bombay where she looked at deep transcending experiences of A-ha moment in the creative processes of Artists and Designers. Aneesha did her Masters in Visual Communication from Industrial Design Centre (IDC), IIT-Bombay, and Bachelors in Applied Arts in Visualization from Sir J. J. School of Applied Arts, Mumbai, India.
Prior to joining Department of Design, Aneesha has worked National Institute of Design, where she was the Head of Information Design discipline and she taught Service Design & Systems Design, Narrative visualization. Apart from teaching, Aneesha has successfully organized a three-day International Conference, ICCCAD 2017 and a two-day National conference CDC 2017 in the capacity of Organization Chair.
In the Professional Design field, Aneesha has worked as Head of UX Design team at GE Digital. Aneesha has done several National and International consultancy projects in the area of User Experience Design (UX) that consists of User Research, Interaction Design, Usability & Visual Design, as well as Strategic Branding and Visual Design for prestigious clients for leading Educational Institutes, Research organisations as well as governments ministries and so on.
