  • About My self

I am an explorer of possibilities of human consciousness. I study human experiences. I approach designed artifacts from experiential perspective. I research, design and teach User Experiences.

Being a researcher is like being an ant, nibbling the mountain of sugar, tasting and enjoying it. Being a designer is like being a tiny little confident god. Creating things from intuitive confidence and realizing next possibilities upon creation. Being a teacher is like completing a full circle. It’s like holding your child in your arms and remembering where you started. It is the joy of starting the journey of life again with the child, completing the life's full circle of exploration, understanding, designing, living, experiencing, fulfilling and then getting to the state of surrendered service. The objective is to complete this full circle with as many willing individuals as possible.

I run a UX lab at Department of Design, IIT Delhi, where along with students, I study human experiences from neurophysiology perspective. We study the cognitive, affective and aesthetic experiences of digital and physical products.

I also look forward to collaborations, bright ideas and well meaning people.  Specifically who wish to study experiential wellbeing. Please do drop a word of interest if you have an idea or an interest in this area.
